Delicious homemade dog treats will not be appreciated unless they are eaten-and they cannot be eaten if they are not chopped up well. Remove bones from cooked meat because they will tend to splinter, thus possibly choking the poor canine. Also disinfect and clean all the tools you will use to prepare his meals so that bacteria will not proliferate and potentially infect the dog through the food he ingests.
